Howard M. Blackson III has more than 20 years of international professional urban design and planning experience with a Master of Urban Design from the University of Westminster, London, and Bachelors in Geography from the University of Texas, Austin. He is the former Director of Planning with PlaceMakers, and is wrapping up as Program Manager for the City of San Diego's Civic Innovation Lab, due to the new Mayor de-funding this new program. Currently, he is Chairman of the CNU-California Chapter; GSA Design Excellence Peer Review Committee Member; and, enjoying living in San Diego, California.
